About Janenne

Janenne is a relationship counsellor who has 30 years practical experience working with individuals, couples and families in Canberra.  Most recently she worked at Relationships Australia (2000-2013) providing relationship counselling, clinical supervision, training, relationship education and workplace counselling and mediation.  She was the Deputy CEO for 7 years (2006-2013).

Janenne’s training was in marital and family therapy, her approach with clients being very much influenced by systemic and narrative ideas.  She values continual professional development and has attended further training in emotionally-focussed therapy, brief therapy, narrative therapy, working with family violence, sexual difficulties, attachment theory and mental health.


Professional Associations

She is a clinical member of the Australian Association of Relationship Counsellors (AARC) and a registered clinical member of the Psychotherapist and Counsellor Federation of Australia (PACFA).  She is also a registered clinical supervisor with PACFA.
