INFORMATION FOR CLIENTS

Appointments are available at the office in Forrest on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 8.30am and 6.30pm.

Other times may be negotiated.

A fee of 50% of the standard fee will be charged if a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the appointment time.

A standard counselling session fee is $160.00

The hourly rate for mediation is $180.00

The hourly rate for clinical supervision  is $160.00

The FOCCUS pre-marriage program fee is $260.00

Payment is required at the completion of each session. Payments can be made by electronic transfer, cheque or cash.

If fees are to be paid by a third party, a written authority will be required at the initial appointment.

Client confidentiality in counselling is very important and every step is taken to ensure that it is respected throughout the process.  However counsellors also have a duty of care and there may be situations – such as child abuse, family violence or the possibility of suicide – when it is necessary to notify the appropriate people owing to the risk of harm.  Wherever possible the need to notify is discussed with the client and they are involved in the process.
