Intimate relationships – including relationship enhancement, intimacy issues, infidelity, trust issues, communication and conflict resolution, sexual difficulties, life transitions, relationship breakdown and divorce
Family relationships – including parenting issues, parenting adolescents, step parenting, blended families, parenting after separation, family breakdown, intergenerational conflict and grief and loss
Workplace issues – stress, work/life balance, impact of work on relationships and family life, conflict in the workplace
Mental health – depression and anxiety
Janenne has been providing pre-marriage education for 20 years. She is an accredited FOCCUS facilitator and trainer.
FOCCUS (Facilitated Open Couple Communication Understanding and Study) is a tool for trained facilitators to use with couples who are intending to marry. It helps them to explore their relationship expectations. The inventory includes the following areas: life style expectations, friends and interests, personality match, personal issues, communication, problem solving, religion and values, finances, parenting, extended family, sexuality and marriage readiness.
Janenne is a trained mediator. She works with couples to negotiate parenting arrangements for their children after separation and works with adult children and their parents experiencing family conflict.
Janenne has been a supervisor for 20 years, providing clinical supervision to psychologists, social workers and counsellors working in the relationship counselling field. In her role as Deputy CEO at Relationships Australia, she was responsible for managing the provision of high quality supervision across the organisation. She also provided management supervision.
Supervision services available:
Regular clinical supervision sessions, face-to face or via Zoom, for practitioners to reflect on, review and develop their clinical practice
Group supervision (maximum 5 practitioners)
Janenne has been a group facilitator for over 20 years. She runs workshops on a variety of topics including stress management, healthy relationships, work/life balance, communication skills and depression in the workplace. She conducts training in couple counselling, family therapy, FOCCUS and working with children.
